Without stratospheric ozone, which of the following would most likely occur?

Advanced Placement (AP)
1 answer:
seraphim [82]3 years ago
5 0

Answer:

III only

Explanation:

The ozone layer is extremely important for the living organisms on Earth. It is a layer that manages to stop big portion of the UV radiation from reaching the surface of the Earth, thus minimizing its negative effects, and only letting enough of it to be useful for the living organisms. If the ozone layer is removed though, then the UV radiation will be so high that most of the living organisms on land would die out because they can not stand such high levels of UV radiation. The marine organisms will also be badly effected, and the majority of them will also die out because of too much radiation, thus making enormous damage to the life on the planet.

1a)Briefly explain ONE major difference between Josephson and Gutman's historical interpretation of the effects of industrializa
kicyunya [14]

Answer:

Josephson believed that industrialization created economic inequalities among people. Gutman, on the other hand, believes that industrialization has caused harmful tension among immigrants and natives.

Explanation:

For Josephson, industrialization created an immense social inequality between rich and poor, where the rich enriched themselves through the exploitation of workers and illegal activities that made them increasingly powerful, while the working class was increasingly exploited.

Gutman, on the other hand, believed that industrialization attracted many immigrants who were trying to get a job in the factories and thereby established competition with American citizens. Such competition generated social tension in the working class, which was often harmful.
