Answer:

Indigenous resistance to economic globalization is essential because neo-liberal policies often impact most heavily on traditional territories and indigenous peoples. Increased market pressures can result in the plunder of lands inhabited by indigenous peoples for thousands of years.

Answer:

Indigenous cultures help shield the environment, fight temperature change, and build resilience to natural disasters, nonetheless their rights are not always protected. whereas native People own, occupy, or use 1 / 4 of the world's extent, they safeguard eightieth of the world's remaining variety. They're more concerned in the natural or environmental activities and that's why they don't show resistance to globalisation.

Hope it helps!<3

1. In the example sentence, personification makes _____ seem like a real person. Bill
Annette [7]

Answer: Pencil, personification, true

Explanation:

The pencil is the thing that seems like a real person. Bill is a thing that you can eliminate on a test because he is a person. The pencil is the thing that is screaming, which is why it is the answer. It is personification because a pencil does not normally scream, but a person does. The sentence is supposed to imply that he is stressed, which nervous is a synonym of, so the statement is true.

Why does the U.S. rate so high in depression compared to other countries?
sergiy2304 [10]
What do you think? Do you have any ideas? I personally believe it is due to social status, advertising things you can't be, and having ideal ways of living. Also, America is very diverse and there is not really a sense of belonging or being of use here as there is in other countries. People are outcasted by groups as well. This is my personal opinion but you should try and come up with something of your own based on these points. :)
