Three ways to implement client-side virtualization comprise presentation virtualization, application virtualization and client-side desktop virtualization. In addition, Client-side desktop virtualization is done by creating multiple virtual machines on a physical machine using a hypervisor. A type 1 hypervisor set up before any OS is installed and is called a bare-metal hypervisor. A type 2 hypervisor is an application that installs in an OS. A Type 1 hypervisor is faster and more secure than a type 2 hypervisor. Server-side virtualization happens on the server and client-side virtualization occurs on the client machine. Virtualization is when one physical machine hosts multiple happenings that are usually done on multiple machines.

Which of the following statements is true? A.)Tt and tt plants have the same phenotype. B.)A person with type O blood has two re
svetlana [45]

The correct answer is option B, that is, a person with type O blood has two recessive genes.

An illustration of a trait determined by a single gene is blood type. Each human exhibits two copies of the gene for blood type on chromosome pair number 9. One of the copy is inherited from the father and the other one is inherited from the mother. An individual's blood type is determined by which allele he or she inherits from the parents.

In case of blood type O, O is a recessive allele. If an A or B is inherited along with the O gene, the A or B gene decides the blood type of an individual. An individual is considered to have type O only if that person inherits two O genes, that is, a person with type O blood exhibits two recessive genes.

1. What organisms undergo cellular respiration?
emmasim [6.3K]
1. Oxygen is required for cellular respiration and is used to break down nutrients, like sugar, to generate ATP (energy) and carbon dioxide and water (waste). Organisms from all kingdoms of life, including bacteria, archaea, plants, protists, animals, and fungi, can use cellular respiration.
2. Mitochondria are often called the “powerhouses” or “energy factories” of a cell because they are responsible for making adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the cell's main energy-carrying molecule.
3. Some cells have more mitochondria than others because they need to process more glucose and produce more ATP.
4. The inner membrane folds over many times and creates layered structures called cristae.
5. In physics, a fluid is a substance that continually deforms (flows) under an applied shear stress, or external force. Fluids are a phase of matter and include liquids, gases and plasmas.
6. Cellular respiration is the process through which cells convert sugars into energy. To create ATP and other forms of energy to power cellular reactions, cells require fuel and an electron acceptor which drives the chemical process of turning energy into a useable form.
Hope I helped you!

The absence of iodine in the diet leads to __________. hypoparathyroidism hypothyroidism hypocalcemia hypoglycemia
storchak [24]

Answer:

The correct answer is hypothyroidism.

Explanation:

Iodine is one of the essential components that must be incorporated in the human diet as it plays an important role in the generation of thyroxine hormone secreted by the thyroid gland. This hormone monitors various functions in the body like it regulates and maintains the body's metabolism, and offers energy to various parts of the body.

In case, if the level of iodine diminishes in the body then it can result in low production of thyroxine hormone, which eventually results in a condition known as hypothyroidism.
