Water is a necessity to every living thing on Earth, and we don’t have a lot of it. If you think about it, yes, our oceans are very large, but we cannot use salt water for much. Fresh water is extremely limited, and we need that to survive because without water, we wouldn’t be here.

This sentence has an incorrect structure as it uses the <em>conjunction although </em>where it is not necessary. The second part of the sentence is not subordinated to the first part. In other words, the fact that the leader joined the war party does not depend on the fact that he was very young when he did it.
