If two lines are parallel, then they must have the same slope.
So, let's take the equation y=1/2x-6(equal to y=x/2-6) and just change the y intercept
1. y=1/2x
2.y=1/2x+3
3.y=1/2x-7
4.y=1/2x+4
5.y=1/2x-8
and so on...

What number must be added to 15,-6,&amp; 12 to have a mean of 5?<br> EXPLAIN!!
FrozenT [24]
To get the mean, you add all of the numbers, and then divide the answer by the number of numbers.

15+(-6)= 9
9+12= 21
(21+x= q )⬅️ignore this for now, that's where the unknown number would have been

The mean = 5, and the number of numbers is 4, so basically, you find 5•4=20

So take the 21 from before, and if you add -1, you get 20!

So, x= ➖1⃣!!!!!!! (That's a -1)

vekshin1
Jen's car because if you divide 140 by 5 you get 28 and that's 28 miles per gallon. When you divide 300 by 12 you get 25 and that's 25 miles per gallon.

alexandr1967 [171]

Answer:

n = 3; enlargement

Step-by-step explanation:

The dashed-line figure is larger. That is the meaning of "enlargement."

Points on the dashed-line figure are 3 times the distance from point H as the corresponding point on the sold-line figure, so the scale factor is 3.
