The correct answer is - the Copper Belt.

Zambia is a sub-Saharan country in Africa, part of the Central African region. The country is located in area known as the Copper Belt, or more specifically, the Central African Copperbelt. The name of the area comes from the abundance of copper in it.

Zambia is a country that is well known for the big copper mines, and it is one of the leading countries in the world when it comes to copper mining. Unfortunately, the country is not manufacturing the copper, so most of the profit goes in the arms of the countries that buy it raw from Zambia and than manufacture it.

Why is London, United Kingdom, farther north than Ottawa, Canada, yet it has a warmer climate than Ottawa?
Alisiya [41]

So there's actually two answers to this question.  The Gulf Stream is part of the reason why Britain is warmer, since it carries so much warm water, but the difference between a maritime and a continental climate is more important. At the latitudes of Canada and Britain, the prevailing winds are coming from the west. If you're in the east, the prevailing winds are gonna have to travel all the way across the ocean, which will lead to it being warmer in the winter, and colder in the summer.  If you've got thousands of miles of continent out to windward, your climate will be more extreme. If you're going across the entire ocean, it's gonna be more mild, and predictable. Continents just get hotter and colder than oceans, and this affects the temperature of the atmosphere passing over them.

A magnitude-3.0 earthquake releases just over _____ times more energy than a 1.0 magnitude earthquake.
NNADVOKAT [17]
The difference between the two mentioned magnitudes is 4.
A magnitude 1 earth-quack is 10000 times bigger than a magnitude -3 earth-quack. On the other hand, it is 1000000 times stronger in terms of energy release.

Note: To calculate the difference in energy between two earth-quacks, first you calculate the difference between their magnitudes and then you raise 10 to the output you obtain.
