Both sweating and panting helps in maintaining the homeostasis with in the body. Sweating occurs when there is excessive hot. As a response to the climatic condition, the seat glands in our body become active and generate sweat. As the sweat evaporates in summer, it leaves behind a cooling effect. It plays an important role in keeping the internal body temperature of an organism constant.  In a similar way when we require extra oxygen supply for doing a tedious or laborious task, panting occurs.
