First expand the brackets (4x+1)(x-4)=4x²-16x+x-4 simplfy that 4x²-15x-4
then expand the other bracket (2x-3)(2x-3)=4x²-6x-6x+9=4x²-12x+9 then add them together 8x²-27x+5.
for B if saids to two dp so you use the quadratic formula where a=1 b=-7 and c=-6 so it's -(-7)+-√(-7)²-4(1*-6)/2=11.03 and if you subtract you get 2.97

C: root 50=root(25)*root(2) root 25=5 so it's 5√2 root(32)=root(16)*root(2) and thats 4√2 5√2+4√2=9√2 we can add them because the roots are the same not sure about 4

5x+9=3(4x-2) is equivalent to
tamaranim1 [39]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

First use distributive property

3(4x-2) = 12x-6

5x+9=12x-6

Now use property of equality

5x+9=12x-6

-9. -9

5x=12x-15

-12x -12x

-7x= -15

-7x divides by -7

-15 divided by -7

Answer: x= 15/7 or x= 2.143

ASAP!! HELP, PLEASE!
lubasha [3.4K]

Answer:

∠M=85 the shortest side is segment LM

Step-by-step explanation:

To figure out ∠m you need to add all of the angles together and make them equal 180.

(2x+5)+(3x+10)+(x+15)=180         Set the angles up to 180

6x+30=180                                 Combind like terms

6x=150                                        Subtract 30 from both sides

x=25                                           Divide by 6

Now you take x and plug it into ∠M

3x+10              The equation for angle M

3(25)+10         Add x into the equation

75+10              Multiply 3 by 25

85                    Add 10

85=∠M

This is angle M. Now you have to do this for the rest of the of the angles.

2x+5               The equation for angle L

2(25)+ 5          Add x into the equation

50+5               Multiply 2 by 25

55                    Add 5

55=∠L

x+15                      The equation for angle N

(25)+15                 Add x into the equation

25+15                   Add 15

40

40=∠N

1 in 5 people in California go to Disneyland each summer. In a group of 25 people, how many people would most likely go to Disne
balu736 [363]

Answer:

Five people are likely to go to Disneyland.

Step-by-step explanation:

Well, we know that 1 per five people go there, so we need to find out how many groups of five are in 25. Well, we know that 5*5 is 25, so there must be five groups of five people.

Now, we know that 1 in each group of five go to Disneyland. So all we have to do is multiply 1 by the number of groups there are.

1*5=5

So the answer is: 5 people are likely to go to Disneyland.
