Answer:

∠M=85 the shortest side is segment LM

Step-by-step explanation:

To figure out ∠m you need to add all of the angles together and make them equal 180.

(2x+5)+(3x+10)+(x+15)=180         Set the angles up to 180

6x+30=180                                 Combind like terms

6x=150                                        Subtract 30 from both sides

x=25                                           Divide by 6

Now you take x and plug it into ∠M

3x+10              The equation for angle M

3(25)+10         Add x into the equation

75+10              Multiply 3 by 25

85                    Add 10

85=∠M

This is angle M. Now you have to do this for the rest of the of the angles.

2x+5               The equation for angle L

2(25)+ 5          Add x into the equation

50+5               Multiply 2 by 25

55                    Add 5

55=∠L

x+15                      The equation for angle N

(25)+15                 Add x into the equation

25+15                   Add 15

40

40=∠N

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Vertex A of the triangle ABC when rotated by 90° counterclockwise about the origin,

Rule to be followed,

A(x, y) → P(-y, x)

Therefore, A(1, 1) → P(-1, 1)

Similarly, B(3, 2) → Q(-2, 3)

C(2, 5) → R(-5, 2)

Triangle given in second quadrant will be the triangle PQR.

If the point P of triangle PQR is reflected across a line y = x,

Rule to be followed,

P(x, y) → X(y, x)

P(-1, 1) → X(1, -1)

Similarly, Q(-2, 3) → Y(3, -2)

R(-5, 2) → Z(2, -5)

Therefore, triangle given in fourth quadrant is triangle XYZ.

Find the sum of (x + 5) and (2x + 3)
Genrish500 [490]
What you can do is subtract 1x from each side
Then you subtract 3 from each side
Then it tells you x=2
Always put what you think x is back into the problem and see if it works out

Example on how you do it:
(x+5)=(2x+3)
5=(x+3)
2=x

( 8n - 3n^4 + 10n ^2 ) - ( 3n^2 + 11n ^4 - 7)
DanielleElmas [232]

Answer:

-14n^4 + 7n^2 + 8n + 7

Step-by-step explanation:

( 8n - 3n^4 + 10n^2 ) - ( 3n^2 + 11n^4 - 7)

8n - 3n^4 + 10n^2 - 3n^2 - 11n^4 + 7

- 14n^4 + 7n^2 + 8n + 7
