We know we sold 200 child tickets.  There are 37(23) total seats, so that leaves

37(23) - 200 = 651

adult tickets sold and a total door of

8(651)+6(200) = 6408.

The manager's estimate of 6400 is very close.

The manager made a good estimate-

200 child tickets x 6 = 1200

37 rows x 23 seats per row = 851 total seats

851 total seats - 200 child tickets sold (given) = 651 seats

651 seats left x 8 dollars per adult = 5208

so the amount raised was 1200 + 5208 = 6408 not far from the managers estimate!

Answer:

36+30 = 6(6+5)

Step-by-step explanation:

We just simply expand the brackets:

6×6=36

6×5=30

30+36=76

so 76-36=30

So the missing number was 30

A navy submarine descended at a rate of 4 feet per second. a. Write the descent rate as an integer. b. Write an expression to fi
Rasek [7]

Answer:

1200

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the value they are asking for is in minutes, we need to convert seconds to minutes. We can do that by multiplying 4 and 60, because there are 60 seconds in a minute, and we need to find the value of one minute.  Also because the value they gave is 4. When we do this, we get 240. To get the final answer, we need to multiply 240 and 5, because 240 is the descending rate per minute, and they are asking for 5 minutes. When we do this, we get 1200.

(I might get this wrong, so like yeah.)

Look at the figure. Find the value of CG.
vladimir2022 [97]

Answer:

x = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

As before, ray BG is an angle bisector. This makes CG and AG equal.

4x - 16 = 2x - 4

2x - 16 = -4

2x = 12

x = 6

To check:

4(6) - 16 = 2(6) - 4

24 - 16 = 12 - 4

8 = 8
