Explanation:

"Frankenstein" is a famous novel by author Mary Shelley. Frankenstein is the name of the doctor who chooses to defy death. He gathers body parts from corpses and forms a living creature from them. The monster he creates is not accepted by society. The fact that it is unnatural prevents people from accepting it as a human being, even though it is capable of feeling and thinking. The creature eventually chooses to despise humanity.

As we can see, there is a conflict between the natural world and the manipulations of science in the novel. Even though science may provide us with useful advancements, it can never take the place of Nature. Frankenstein cannot play God without dire consequences - even his loved ones end up killed by the creature. If he had taken all the possible consequences into consideration before doing his experiment, he might have never chosen to do it.
