In which sentence is the word array used correctly?

English
1 answer:
Ilya [14]3 years ago
4 0

Answer:

The correct answer is "The sales clerk showed Jenny an array of shirts, including ones with stripes and ones with polka dots."

Explanation:

The word "array" basically means an assortment of something that is displayed in an ordered manner. So a bookshelf would have an array of books, a cloth store would have an array of clothes, and so on. Light rays could I suppose be displayed in an ordered manner but then again light isn't really tangible (touchable) so array doesn't apply there. Hope it helped! :)

Complete the text with the best conjunctive adverb.
Blababa [14]

Answer:

C) Incidentally

Explanation:

Personally I don't like any of these answer choices. However, this one makes the most sense in this context. The others would need a much different set-up earlier on in the passage. "Incidentally" does not require such a set up, which is why it is the only one that fits.
