Answer:

The 95% confidence interval for the proportion of all people in this age group who had a TV in their room at the time of the poll is (0.6313, 0.6887).

Step-by-step explanation:

In a sample with a number n of people surveyed with a probability of a success of \pi, and a confidence level of 1-\alpha, we have the following confidence interval of proportions.

\pi \pm z\sqrt{\frac{\pi(1-\pi)}{n}}

In which

z is the zscore that has a pvalue of 1 - \frac{\alpha}{2}.

For this problem, we have that:

Of these 1048 teenagers, 692 had a television in their room. This means that n = 1048, \pi = \frac{692}{1048} = 0.66

95% confidence level

So \alpha = 0.05, z is the value of Z that has a pvalue of 1 - \frac{0.05}{2} = 0.975, so Z = 1.96.

The lower limit of this interval is:

\pi - z\sqrt{\frac{\pi(1-\pi)}{n}} = 0.66 - 1.96\sqrt{\frac{0.66*0.34}{1048}} = 0.6313

The upper limit of this interval is:

\pi + z\sqrt{\frac{\pi(1-\pi)}{n}} = 0.66 + 1.96\sqrt{\frac{0.66*0.34}{1048}} = 0.6887

The 95% confidence interval for the proportion of all people in this age group who had a TV in their room at the time of the poll is (0.6313, 0.6887).

Answer:

D. 62.5

Step-by-step explanation:

2 ways

1.

7.5 ÷ 3 = 2.5

25 times 2.5 = 62.5

2.

3/7.5 = 25/x

3x = 187.5

187.5 ÷ 3 = 62.5

The imaginary number i is equal to
Murljashka [212]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

An equivalent expression is an expression which is equal to −(4 + 3i) + (2 + 2i). You can expand or simplify an expression to make an equivalent expression. Combine like terms - constants with constants and imaginary with imaginary - to simplify.

−(4 + 3i) + (2 + 2i) = -4 + 2 -3i + 2i = -2 - i

Mitchell left Detroit on the interstate driving south towards Orlando at a speed of 60 miles per hour. Clark left Detroit 1 hour
myrzilka [38]
Well I know that it will take Clark 4 hours to catch up to Mitchell

Explanation: what you have to do is find the common multiple of both of them
I created a little table to explain
And each hour I would add 60 to Mitchell’s and 75 to Clark, as for the equations I’m not completely sure, but I do know that time= distance/rate which means if I were to make equations I would do 300/60=t and for Clark’s I would do 300/75=t and in this case you can find t =4, I’m not sure how right the equations are just so you know, but I know it’s 4 hours, hope this helps
