Explanation:

Nuclear reactions are defined as the reactions in which there occurs change in the nucleus of an atom. As neither electrons or protons are not involved in a nuclear reaction.

For example, ^{6}_{3}Li + ^{2}_{1}H \rightarrow ^{4}_{2}He + ^{4}_{2}He

According to law of conservation of mass, mass can neither be created nor it can be destroyed but it can be converted into one form to another.

Hence, in nuclear reactions mass remains conserved.

Also, there is no involvement of electrons and protons. So, there occurs no change in charge of the atoms. Therefore, charge also remains conserved in a nuclear reaction.

Thus, we can conclude that all types of nuclear reactions have in common that all processes conserve total mass number and total charge. Whereas they differ in specific particle consumed and produced.

Which of the following is an example of a mixture?
valentinak56 [21]
A. The atmosphere

All the other examples are either elements or compounds, not mixtures. A mixture is a combination of elements that are not chemically or irreversibly conjoined so the atmosphere, made up of a variety of gases, would be a mixture.

wlad13 [49]

Here we have to point out the necessary character of the substance needed which are used as lightning conductor.

The substance should have the following properties:

High electricity carrying capacity and less resistant.

High melting point

The substance should have high electricity carrying capacity or the resistance is less so that the electricity generated during the lightning easily conducted to the ground

The substance should have high melting point so that during lightning the generated high temperature cannot disrupt the material.

What happened to a balloon when it is put in freezer
e-lub [12.9K]

The frozen balloon shrank because the average kinetic energy of the gas molecules in a balloon decreases when the temperature decreases. This makes the molecules move more slowly and have less frequent and weaker collisions with the inside wall of the balloon, which causes the balloon to shrink a little.
