How was a town able to become independent of a feudal lord ?
just olya [345]
Depends on how many freemen were ready to take up arms against the feudal lord and maybe secure protection from a rival feudal lord. Regardless, it's likely the lord of that feudal lord would interfere unless they weren't too fond of the feudal lord who lost the town.

What is an example of a renaissance man today
disa [49]
As in a modern day renaissance man? Or someone we’d consider renaissance during the time period? That could be Michelangelo. There isn’t really a modern renaissance. The whole point of a renaissance is a rebirth, which as far as I know hasn’t happened since then.
