Some advantages of labeling people by their mental disorders are that if people know why you act a certain way they will be less likely to judge you or make assumptions that aren't true, another advantage is it may help other people who have the same problems to feel better because they know that they aren't alone. Some disadvantages are that if your mental disorder is labeled everyone will know your business or problems, another disadvantage is that people might make fun of you for your mental disorder.
