What would happen if there was a sudden increase in the amount of greenhouse gases in Earth’s atmosphere?
nadya68 [22]
There would be a much more severe caae of global warming if there is a sudden increase in greenshouses gases.

With greenhouse gasses such as carbon dioxide, the heat of the earth cannot be penentrated throught the atmosphere and will be trapped, the sunlight also cannot be reflected. This will cause the temperature of the earth’s surface to rise greatly.

The ice of the polar will melt resulting in the increase of water level globally. The increase of water level, when all the ice melt, will flood over some places in countires, even flooding the countries in low lying areas such as Japan.

It will also cause an imbalance in the ecosystem as some of the organisms require a certain temperature to facilitate its growth. With the high temperature, some types of organisms might not be able to survive while the organisms that favors high temperature will have a growth that distrupt the ecosystem. For example, coral reef will die if the temperature exceed 29°c.

scoray [572]

Answer:

An artesian aquifer is a confined aquifer containing groundwater under positive pressure. An artesian aquifer has trapped water, surrounded by layers of impermeable rock or clay which apply positive pressure to the water contained within the aquifer.

A force that makes a flow of water strong or weak high/low water pressure.

The soil or rock located below the top of the groundwater table. By definition, the zone of saturation is saturated with water. Also see water table. Where raw wastewater is exfiltrating from a sewer pipe, the area of soil that is moistened around the leak point is often called the zone of saturation.

Porosity or void fraction is a measure of the void spaces in a material, and is a fraction of the volume of voids over the total volume, between 0 and 1, or as a percentage between 0% and 100%. Strictly speaking, some tests measure the "accessible void", the total amount of void space accessible from the surface.
