The pattern:
So it goes, 1, 2, 3, as the first number in each equation right.
Then it goes 4,5,6 as the second number in each equation.
<span>In other words, the first number + 3 = the second number
</span>
The sum or 3rd number is a zig zag pattern from the first and second numbers as shown below.
1 2 3 4 5 6   <span>7  </span>8   9
4 <span>5 </span>6 7 8 9 10 11 <span>12
</span>
1 * 5 = 5, 2 * 6 = 12, 3 * 7 = 21 .... 8 * 12 = 96

<span>So the answer of </span><span>8+11=96</span>

8 + 11 = 40. Because, 8+11= 19 and 19 + 21 is 40.

A triangular poster has a base of 2 1/2 feet and a height of 1 3/4 feet what is the area of the poster
JulijaS [17]

Answer:

a=2\frac{3}{16}

Step-by-step explanation:

formulas:

a= b x h x \frac{1}{2}

or           (both equations get the same answers)

a= b x h ÷ 2

imma stick with the second one kuz i usually use that one but ur preference.

so,

base(b) = 2\frac{1}{2} = \frac{5}{2}

height(h) = 1\frac{3}{4} = \frac{7}{4}

now fill it in to the equation:

a=b x h x \frac{1}{2}                        a= b x h ÷ 2

a=\frac{5}{2} x \frac{7}{4} x \frac{1}{2}                         a=\frac{5}{2} x \frac{7}{4} ÷ 2

a=\frac{35}{16}                                   a=\frac{35}{16} ÷ 2

a=2\frac{3}{16}                                   a=\frac{35}{8} ÷ 2

                                          a=\frac{35}{16}

                                           a=2\frac{3}{16}

o well i did both lol

now you ca compare the two equations now  :]

A sail in the form of a right triangle the angle at its lower edge is 55 what is the size of the angle formed at the top of the
Mars2501 [29]

Answer:

The size of the angle formed at the top of the sail is 35.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the sum of all angles inside a triangle must be 180. This is a rule.

So we know that a right triangle is called like that because one angle is a 90-degree angle.

Then we have that:

180 = right angle + lower edge angle + angle top of the sail

180 = 90 + 55 + angle top of the sail

Solving for 'angle top of the sail' we have:

angle top of the sail = 180 - 90 - 55 = 35

The size of the angle formed at the top of the sail is 35.
