Juror #10 reveals his prejudice almost immediately when he says, "Well, it's the element. They let the kids run wild. Maybe it serves ‘em right." By using the pronouns "they" and "them" he makes a general statement about the people who are considered poor.
Juror #3's prejudice is first revealed when he says, "It's the kids. The way they are—you know? They don't listen." He goes on to talk about his son and how he "made a man out of [him]." His prejudice is directed towards teenagers and their supposed lack of respect for their fathers.

mash [69]

Answer:

Option C:- It does not maintain the same tone throughout.

Explanation:

In this paragraph, both advantages and disadvantages of cell phone are discussed. This paragraph deals with advantages and disadvantages both at the same time so it does not maintain a constant tone throughout the paragraph. Disadvantage of cell phone is that it distracts the young people whose focus should be on education. Also it states about the advantages of cell phone like it helps the students to connect with their parents. Further it also helps in taking pictures with friends. Thus it talks about both advantages and disadvantages simultaneously, not maintaining the same tone throughout.

Identify the italicized word according to its class in structural linguistics. The principal is extremely busy.
BlackZzzverrR [31]
The italicized word is extremely and the correct answer is intensive.
The word extremely is an adverb, which means that you can rule out noun, adjective, and verb immediately. You can also rule out empty word because extremely has a particular meaning on its own, which means that it cannot be empty. Thus, we are left with one option only - intensive.

What is the authors purpose in both patrick Henry’s speech and Thomas paines common sense?
Makovka662 [10]

The author's purpose in both Patrick Henry’s speech and Thomas Paine's common sense is discussed below.

What distinguishes Patrick Henry from Thomas Paine?

Thomas Paine employed a sardonic, formal tone, whereas Patrick Henry used a furious, yet emotional tone. But in the end, Patrick Henry's delivery worked better at persuading American colonists to support independence.

The best course of action is to PERSUADE THE COLONISTS TO RESIST the BRITISH RULE.

When the British were in charge of the colonies, these two authors published their writings. The main goal of the writings of these two authors is to persuade the colonists that refusing to rebel against the oppressive British authority serves no useful purpose and that doing so is the only option for them to achieve independence.
