PH is the measure of hydrogen ions. Basically solutions with a high concentration of hydrogen have a low pH. An example of neutral amount of pH would be milk. An example of a high amount of pH would be battery acid.

According to Google, pH is the measure of the hydrogen ion concentration a solution. Solutions with a high concentration of hydrogen ions have a low pH and solutions with a low concentrations of H+ ions have a high pH. This may seem like a confusion way to express these relationships, and it is, until you understand what pH stands for.

Complete the sentence to explain how organisms develop in a changing environment.
enot [183]

Answer:

<u><em>Genetic variation</em></u> occurs because beneficial traits exist in a collection of genes, and <u><em>gene flow</em></u> makes these traits more prevalent in populations.

Explanation:

In biology, genetic variation can be described as the different genotypes which occur in species of the same kind. This genetic variation allows those organisms to survive on Earth which are better adapted to survive to the environmental changes.

The organisms which are better adapted to live in an environment will reproduce and pass their traits to the offsprings. Over time, these traits will become more prevalent in a population.

Of the answers below, what is the smallest nucleotide sequence that could code for a protein with 300 amino acids?
ololo11 [35]
The nucleotide sequence would have to have 900 nucleotides in order to code for a protein of 300 amino acids. When translating RNA into proteins, RNA is read 3 bases at a time. Each group of 3 bases is a codon, and each codon codes for an amino acid. When read, the proper amino acid is added to a growing chain of amino acids, which will be folded to become a protein.

Therefore, 300 amino acids * 3 nucleotides per amino acid = 900 nucleotides.
