Hello!

Gerry folded 3/8 of the pile of shirts and Molly folded 1/8 of the pile of shirts, so in total they folded 4/8 of the pile of shirts.

A N S W E R:

4 is half of 8, but it is not more than half of 8, so, together, Gerry and Molly did NOT fold more than half the shirts.

Find the Perimeter of the figure below, composed of a rectangle and two semicircles.
Lynna [10]

Answer:

Perimeter of given figure = 28.56 unit (Approx.)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Length of long side = 8 unit

Number of long side = 2

Diameter of semi circle = 4

Number of semicircle = 2

Find:

Perimeter of given figure

Computation:

Radius of semi circle = Diameter of semi circle / 2

Radius of semi circle = 4 / 2

Radius of semi circle = 2 units

Perimeter of given figure = 2[πr] + 2[Length of long side]

Perimeter of given figure = 2[(3.14)(2)] + 2[8]

Perimeter of given figure = 2[6.28] + 16

Perimeter of given figure = 12.56 + 16

Perimeter of given figure = 28.56 unit (Approx.)

Helpppp someone !!! It’s due midnight tonight .
postnew [5]

Answer:

Hey there,

Let the angle ABC = x

Let the angle CBE = y

Let the angle EBD = z

We want to find x.

So, we are given the following:

x+y+z=85

z=21

And y=z

therefore, both y and z must equal 21.

21+21=42

85-42=43.

Elena bikes 20 minutes each day for exercise. Write an equation to describe the relationship between her distance in miles, D, a
nika2105 [10]

Answer:

D= 3.9 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Given data

speed v= 13 miles per hour

time taken t= 20min to hour 0.3 hours

the distance D

We know that the relationship between speed, time, and distance

speed=distance/time

13=D/0.3

(the expression above describes the relationship between distance, speed, and time)

making D subject of formula we have

D= 0.3*13

D= 3.9 miles

hence the distance is 3.9miles
