My cousing care too much about the appearances. This is the answer because each cousin fusses about their looks-
Debra cares too much about her hair
Deidra has to make sure she looks on point with what she wears
Dalia makes fun of people because of their choice of clothes.
At the end it also tells you that they wont eat due to the fact it will mess up their looks.

meriva
In the great gatsby Nick says the following: "I couldn't sleep all night; a fog-horn was groaning incessantly on the sound, and I tossed half-sick between grotesque reality and savage frightening dreams" You can clearly see that he heard a groaning horn and then he decides to toss half-sick.

At what point should a speaker acknowledge the counterclaim?
nevsk [136]

Acknowledging counterclaim is very important. First of all it makes the conversation healthier and most probably through it always a good conclusion comes out of it. As far as when to acknowledge that counterclaim is concerned, then one should acknowledge it after giving your point of view and explaining your thoughts nicely to others. Through this the counterclaims coming from the other sides would not be absurd or ambiguous.

What is being compared in the poem Unfolding Bud
Blizzard [7]

Answer:

The poet Naoshi Koriyama in his poem Unfolding Bud compares a water-lily bud to that of a poetry.

Explanation:

In his poem he uses significant metaphors which stands out and is made attractive to the readers.

He describes poetry with that of a growing plant.

From bud to a growing plant he shows how poetry has developed over the ages.

Also, until the flower opens, we wouldn’t know how it would look. This is an awesome comparison which means the beauty of the poetry is unveiled as an when we read it on the way.
