According to Castro, the territory of Latin America is suffering from countries like the United States using their imperialistic powers. According to Castro, countries such as the United States take advantage of Latin American countries. Kennedy and other US leaders believe that Castro has created a dictatorship. The people of Cuba are suffering because Castro and communism oppress people politically and economically.

The US was afraid of having another Communist country so nearby so they supported the regime and were against Castro. Castro on the other hand and all his supporters fought the government in any way possible and eventually the rebellion was successful after which they imposed their own rule which still lasts today.

Well, it wasn't really religion which was the primary goal of the western countries but dominance on land. Since it has been a bloodbath in conquering lands, they ought to use religion to peacefully influence these tribes by bring priests.
