Answer:

Answer:

Fixed manufacturing cost allocated to inventory= $9,000

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

Units in beginning inventory 0

Units produced 280

Units sold 240

Units in ending inventory 40

Fixed manufacturing overhead $63,000

The absorption costing method includes all costs related to production, both fixed and variable.

First, we need to calculate the unitary fixed manufacturing cost:

unitary fixed manufacturing cost= 63,000/280= $225

Fixed manufacturing cost allocated to inventory= 40*225=$9,000

Working for a mental health agency, it is next to impossible to access information. Our agency is required by law to maintain all client records for 7 years in a secured area (limited access by Executive Director & Director of Operations, No access by employees). After 7 years they are to be disposed of properly. Our agency shreds our documents personally as to not allow a private company to do so, hence there is no breach of confidentiality. Then a private company (document disposal company) removes the shredded documentation for destruction. So it would be impossible (or at least, improbable) to obtain access to our organization information through dumpster diving.

You own a small manufacturing business that produces widgets. You have spent $150,000 acquiring the fixed assets you need to pro
DENIUS [597]

Answer:

11,538 units

Explanation:

Given that:

Fixed assets = $150,000

Variable cost = $2

Sales price = $15

Break even point = Fixed cost ÷ Contribution margin

Contribution margin = Sales per unit - Variable cost per unit = $15 - $2 = $13

Break even point (Sales) = $150,000 ÷ $13 = 11,538 units

Therefore, 11,538 widgets must be sold to break even.
