Most of this process happens on familial setting, where we spend the most of our time during childhood. Because of this, people on average have a very similar perspective/opinon with their parents with a little adjustment from the influences of our closest friends.

The woman was also supposed to take care of the house while the husband went working, and they were to obey the husbands orders.
