aerobic respiration results in the production of large amounts of lactic acid. How does this impact the body? What is one real l
neonofarm [45]
It’s actually called anaerobic cellular respiration because you’re not using oxygen. For example, when you sprint you can’t breathe very well, so you’re not inhaling as much oxygen you need to make that energy for you to move. Your muscles will go into lactic acid fermentation, and the result of that is energy (ATP) along with lactate (lactic acid), and you will probably start feeling pain as the lactic acids build up.

Hope that helps!

Why would a person with AIDS be in more danger from common colds?
nasty-shy [4]
AIDS attacks white blood cells, damaging the immune system and making the infected individual more susceptible to illness. White blood cells are the ones that fight off harmful bacteria, so without them you could even end up in the hospital or die from a common cold.

Which of the following is needed in the process of DNA replication?
Lisa [10]
All of the above are needed. Nucleotides are the basic building blocks of new DNA, ATP energy is needed because replication is an active process, and enzymes catalyze the reactions needed to carry it out (e.g. helicase to separate the strands to be replicated, DNA polymerase to build the new strands, and ligase to "glue" the fragments together).
