The General Assembly is one of the main six organs of the United Nations, the main deliberative, policymaking and representative organ. Members of the GA meet once a year and approve United Nations budget. They discuss international issues such as peace and security, development, international law, etc.

The Security Council has primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security. It is made of fifteen members, five of whom are permanent and ten are elected, non-permanent members. They are elected by the General Assembly every two years. A decision can be vetoed by any one of its permanent members.

The General Assembly represents one of the six subjects, the main bodies, the main advisory, political and representative body. Members of the General Assembly meet once a year, and approve the United Nations budget. They also deal with issues of peace, law, development, at the international level.

The primary duty of the Security Council is to maintain international security and to establish peace where necessary, between the warring parties. In this regard, it deals with the adoption of resolutions, with the aim of establishing and preserving peace. It consists of fifteen members elected by the General Assembly, five of which are permanent members, and ten elected, non-permanent members.  Any solution can be vetoed, by any permanent member.
