Here we're interested in the circumference:  C = pi*d.  In this case C = 3.14*(28 inches) = 88 inches.

Now divide this 88 inches into 200 feet to get the # of revolutions ncessary to travel 200 feet.

200 feet     12 in
------------ * --------- = 2400 inches
       1           1 ft

2400 inches
----------------------- = 27.2 revolutions   (answer)
[ 88 inches/ rev ]

Need help on this question
Reika [66]
This is actually quite simple. You just have to remember that a triangles angle measures must equal up to 180. Also, you need to recognize which angles are supplementary angles (angles whose measure must add up to 180) That being said, 126 and A are supplementary angles. So are C and 41, and E and 38. To find out A, simply subtract 126 from 180 to get 54. Then, to get C, subtract 41 from 180 to get 139. Since you know A and C, you can figure out B, which is 85. Then, to find E, subtract 138 from 180. That equals 42. Now, simply add up 41 and 42, and shbtract it from 180. That gives you 97, which is D. I hope this helps! :)

The links of the legs of a right triangle are 9 cm and 12 cm what is the length of a hypo hypotenuse
Marat540 [252]

Hello!

To find the hypotenuse of a right triangle, we use the formula: a² + b² = c². In this formula, which is also known as the Pythagorean Theorem, a and b are the legs of the right triangle, and c is the hypotenuse, which is the value we are trying to find.

The value of leg a is 9 centimeters, and value of leg b is 12 centimeters. With those values, we can substitute it into our equation and solve.

(9)² + (12)² = c² (simplify the exponent)

81 + 144 = c² (simplify)

225 = c² (take the square root of both sides)

c = 15

Therefore, the length of the hypotenuse is 15 centimeters.
