The Hebrews believed that God chose them as his chosen people and that he would bless them for holding true to their beliefs, and they believe Jerusalem was the holiest city due to Solomons temple being there. But again it's just a few jews who cares.

The Old City of Jerusalem has within its walls holy places central to Judaism, Christianity and Islam. These include the Western Wall, built by King Solomon in the tenth century BCE as a retaining wall to support the Temple Mount; the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, commenced in the fourth century CE under the Emperor Constantine; and the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque, built after the conquest of Jerusalem by the Caliph Omar in the seventh century. The proximity of these sites reflects the close historical and doctrinal relationship between the three monotheistic religions. hope this help :)

What part does sacrifice play in Roman
religion?
Xelga [282]

Answer:

Read the explanation below

Explanation:

Sacrifices play a significant role in the Roman religion. During the Roman Empire, the Roman would make offerings/sacrifices of an animal to their gods to guide them. Some animals they used were pigs and sheep. The Romans believed that their gods were involved in their every day lives, so making sacrifices/offerings were very common. They usually brought these valuables into temples.

How did Indian recognization act affect the Native Americans in Washington
Kryger [21]

Answer:

The act curtailed the future allotment of tribal communal lands to individuals and provided for the return of surplus lands to the tribes rather than to homesteaders. It also encouraged written constitutions and charters giving Indians the power to manage their internal affairs.
