I feel that these attacks against out settlements is outrageous. I think that if something isn't done, we will be over come by British soldiers and no longer be free. That is why I have chosen to join the militia against the british. I hope that you don't blame me for going, but I think it is the only option for us to remain free. If I don't do this and my brothers and friends go without me, I will never get over it. I love you both with all my heart, but i have to do this, for god and for country.
