statuscvo [17]
Reproduce:
Courtship begins in March and may continue into late may. One litter is born per year, and the female raises the litter without the help of the Male. Mating occurs in early spring and pregnancy of 37 to 42 days follows. Normally a litter contains of 2-4 young, but litters as small as 1 and as big as 6 have been documented.

Growth & Develop:
Youngs are poorly developed, they weigh 5 to 6 grams. They are born with closed eyes and ears, fused toes, and a cylindrical tail. By the sixth day toes are separated and after 31 days their eyes open. Young leave the nest at 40 days and are completely weaned after two months, but they sometimes stay with the mother for another month. They breed in the first summer after they are born.
