Explain why love is not merely a feeling.

Theres a saying my dad use to say "you may no longer love that person,you could even hate them to death or wish they were dead but no matter how strong ur hate for them is deep down you still care for them" 
what he was saying is all the hatew in the world gets out runned by love, humans feel love some may feel it easier then others but its still a strong thing to say. some use the word love to get what they want and others dont use it that much. some say the more u dont say i love you the more u mean it really it just depends on who says it and the way they say it

love is not just a feeling, in order to hate someone u would have to deeply love them. the only reason you would hate someone is cuz they hurt you ppl sometimes use the word hate to say they love that person and thats understandable. love is a strong bond we feel between another person, its a form of feeling thatll never go away it stays there forever and will never ever go away. other feelings like madness and sadness arent always there they go away from time to time even if its not that long but love sticks with us our whole life.

anyways thats why love is not just a mere feelings its a lot more then we  realize, i hope this helps tho :)
