Read this quote from a campaign speech by Eugene Debs. “I am not a labor leader. I don't want you to follow me or anyone else. I

f you are looking for a Moses to lead you out of the capitalist wilderness you will stay right where you are. I would not lead you into this promised land if I could, because if I could lead you in, someone else could lead you out.” What conclusion can be drawn about Eugene Debs’ beliefs after reading this quote? Debs hoped that a labor union would offer him its leadership. Debs believed workplaces should have standard safety codes. Debs had moved on from his days as a labor organizer. Debs was fearful of being sent back to jail again.

Kennedy's reference to our forebears serves mainly to
aivan3 [116]

"Forebears" means ancestors.  By invoking the memory and stature and wisdom of those who "prescribed" the "solemn oath" used to swear new presidents into office, President Kennedy was connecting his new administration with all the history and accomplishment of preceding administrations.  He was hoping to emphasize a connection with values upon which the United States was founded. Hope you find this useful!

Which observation is inconsistent with the ideal gas law.
prisoha [69]

The observation that is inconsistent with the ideal gas equation is; "When temperature is held constant and volume increases, the pressure increases."

Boyle's law describes the relationship between the pressure and volume of ideal gas. Boyle's law states that, the volume of a given mass of gas is inversely proportional to its pressure at constant temperature.

Hence, the statement that "When temperature is held constant and volume increases, the pressure increases." does not agree with Boyle's law therefore it is inconsistent with the ideal gas law.
