Umm so guys I got an F on a test today but idk y because there were all questions and then all of them were for example 2+5=_ so

underscore was the answer. Then I looked for other questions without the underscore but they all had it so I thought maybe mine was accidently the answer key. So I went over it with pencil to make it look like my work, and then I turned it in and I got an F...WHY IS THAT!!

It could be because they knew it was an answer key because it is somewhat easy to tell pencil form print or they knew the lost the key. It also could’ve been a test to see if you would turn it in

Answer:

0

Negative

Un-defined

Things you need to know:

Any line parallel to the x axis is 0

any line parallel to the y axis is infinite/un-defined

Any line that is slanted in that way shown in the picture is negative vice versa the other way it is slanted will be positive.

What value of x makes the equation true?
OverLord2011 [107]
B. -4.5

You need to isolate x by subtracting -4.1 and to keep the equation equal you need to do this on both sides.

Look at the diagram. If RS = 15 and RT = 18, then ST = _.<br> 33
OleMash [197]

Answer:

RS = 15 and RT = 18, then ST = 3!   :D

Step-by-step explanation:r = 1 --> s=15 & t=18 so st = 270

r = 3 --> s = 5 & t = 6 so st = 30

r = 5 --> s = 3 & t = 3.6 so st = 10.8

etc

==============

In literal terms:

s = 15/r

t = 18/r

Could you solve it? I don't know how to solve it:(
Nikitich [7]

Answer:

-1, 4

Step-by-step explanation:

log_2x+ log_2(x-3)=2 \\ log_2 \{x(x-3) \}=2  \\ x(x - 3) =  {2}^{2}  \\  {x}^{2}  - 3x = 4 \\  {x}^{2}  - 3x - 4 = 0 \\  {x}^{2}  - 4x + x - 4 = 0 \\ x(x - 4) + 1(x - 4) = 0 \\ (x - 4)(x + 1) = 0 \\ x - 4 = 0 \:  \: or \:  \: x + 1 = 0 \\  x = 4 \:  \: or \:  \: x =  - 1 \\  \huge \red{ \boxed{x =  \{ - 1, \:  \: 4 \}}}

Please someone help, it will be great if you do
xz_007 [3.2K]

We will get shaded area when we subtract rectangle area from semicircle area.

Rectangle area is   Ar=a*b=16*6= 96 cm∧2

Semicircle area is  Asc= (r∧2 pi)/2

First we must find radius.

We know that the center of the semicircle ( or circle) is in the middle of the longer side of the rectangle.

Now we can find radius with Pythagorean theorem

r= √8∧2+6∧2= √64+36 =√100= 10cm => r= 10 cm

Asc=(10∧2 * pi)/2 = 50 pi cm∧2

Shaded area is Asc - Ar = 50pi - 96 = 2 (25pi-48) cm∧2

Good luck!!!
