In his speech Roosevelt made no mention of Germany and the war in Europe. Why?
deff fn [24]
Roosevelt did not mention Germany and the war in Europe in his speech because his main aim was to make sure that America stayed out of the war. He did not want the American people to become involved in foreign wars.  What he did do, however, is provide weapons to the Allies to help them fight the war. It would seem that by providing the Allies with weapons he was hoping that the citizens of the USA would never become involved in the war.

How did European competition for colonies affect Africa? Use the following four concepts as the basis for your argument and prov
12345 [234]
The colonial powers had a lasting effect on the continent of Africa. In the area of natural resources, the imperialist embarked on an exploitation drive that did not look at the needs of the local population, a modus operandi that was copied by the current african governments. The separation of communities and incorporation of hostile communities into one sphere of influence resulted to the current wave of ethnic politics, tensions and violence. however, the colony also substantially benefited from European technologies in such areas as telecommunication, transport and health. The campaigns that had ended up in the abolition of slavery also was better enforced in the continent.
