The correct answer is:

D)    Authors can have original works copyrighted.

Copyright is the best example of the promotion of individual initiative in the free enterprise system of the United States. Copyright and patent protection laws are guaranteed in the constitution to prevent people from using someone else´s idea to sell a product in the marketplace for their own benefit.

EXPLANATION

Capitalism is an economic system in which free citizens own and use the factors of production to create a product and then make a profit. Thus, products that can be bought and sold on the market without regulations or government intervention are called free markets.

If an economy combines capitalism and the free market, then it can be said that the economy is based on very free trade. Free companies have personal resources. This trading system minimizes government interference. Because the basic concepts are very similar, people often equate the terms free market and capitalism to describe the economic system of the United States. The capitalistic free-market economy consists of five important characteristics: like-to-like exchange, profit motives, economic freedom, private property, and competition. These things are very important for our economic success and directly impact the lives of citizens.

• Private property

The most prominent feature of capitalism is private property rights, which enable people to own and control their property as they wish. People can use and abuse their property as long as they do not affect others’ rights. So that private property stimulates people to work, save, and invest to have as many rival properties as possible. When people are free to do what they want with their property, they are not reluctant to accumulate, enhance, use or lend their property.

That copyright is highly valued in countries with concepts like this. Citizens are also protected by the Eligible Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution The clause protects the private ownership rights of the American people. The clause states that the State cannot "seize anyone's life, liberty, or property, without due process of law."

Which of these as a factor in Rome transitions from a republic to an empire
yawa3891 [41]

The correct answer is B) rivalries between classes.

The other options of the question were A) defeat in the Punic Wars. C) a refusal to build a navy. D) the invasion of Muslim armies.

What was a factor in Rome transition from a republic to an empire was "rivalries between classes."

In 509 BCE, the Roman Republic had been founded, installing a representative democracy after many years of Etruscan rule. It was after Julius Caesar's death, that his nephew Augustus became the first Roman Emperor, and the Republic became a thing of the past. Many things changed but the differences and rivalries between classes remained.
