Answer:

The first-person point of view affects the overall story in "The Black Cat" by Edgar Allan Poe because A drunk man kills his cat and it comes back to haunt him. In Poe's usual style, the narrator of the story is the killer and we see things through his eyes. Then, he begins with the narrator's outbreak that he is shutting in the tale before his death. The theme in the story is, that self-knowledge against self-deception and sanity versus madness and love versus hate and good versus evil that the power of obsession and guilt and the sources or motives of crime, are being shown in this text.

(hope this helps)

Answer:

Edgar Allan Poe ‘s use of the first person narrator is effective as it can be seen in “The Black Cat”. “The Black Cat” is a story narrated by an anonymous protagonist who is the killer of the story. The fact that the narrator is the killer, he tells the story from his own perspective; this leads us to question the trustworthiness of his narrative; because the first person narrative is the narrative in which the reader can be manipulated by the narrator himself.

The story is a brilliant piece of Edgar Allan Poe, which leaves the reader in suspense. Almost with every sentence of our narrator, Poe tells us that we should not trust first person narrators, especially the ones who try to convince the reader about his sincerity and stability.

What is financial education?

 • It is a discipline that wants to educate individuals about their finances.
 • It is a discipline that wants to help people spend money coherently and satisfyingly.

Many people believe that financial education will help a person to spend money only on necessary things that it is impossible to live without. This is a mistake, as this is not the purpose of financial education.

Financial education wants to help people to spend rationally, and avoid impulses and unnecessary expenses, allowing the individual to have better savings, have their needs met, and be happier.

Irina-Kira [14]

Rukmani depicts her garden in rich detail in Nectar in a Sieve because it is essential to her. This demonstrates her caring, hardworking, and patient personality, as it requires these traits to care for a garden. When she learns what it takes to be a farmer's wife, she starts her own vegetable garden and works hard to maintain it. Readers might deduce from this that Rukmani adores the land and takes strength from its beauty.

What is the Theme of Nectar in a Sieve?

The most essential component of life, according to Nectar in a Sieve, is familial love and familial sacrifice.

While this viewpoint is lovely and encouraging, it is also heartbreaking since Rukmani's great love for her family coexists with her incapacity to protect and care for them.

Who is the author of Nectar in A sieve?

Kamala Markandaya was a British Indian author and journalist who wrote under the pen name Kamala Purnaiya and married under the name Kamala Taylor.

She has been termed as "One of the most significant Indian authors writing in English,"
