Fracking fluid would not be injected near groundwater reserves and the pollution in the atmosphere would decrease are the two developments to occur in non-renewable such as fossil fuels are no longer extracted from Earth.

Explanation:

Resources that cannot be regained again are called Non - Renewable resources. This category includes Fossil fuels, oils, natural gas, etc. A drilling technique called Hydraulic fracturing or fracking is mainly used for the extraction of natural gas or oil from the Earth.

This process destroys drinking water supplies and pollutes air in the atmosphere. This will ultimately result in global warming and induces earthquakes. Hence, these two events do not occur when the non renewable resources are not extracted from the mother earth.
