Answer:

E) None of the above

Explanation:

The computation of the Accumulated Depreciation under the ouble-declining-balance method  is shown below:

First we have to find the depreciation rate which is shown below:

= One ÷ useful life

= 1 ÷ 5

= 20%

Now the rate is double So, 40%

In year 2016, the original cost is $210,000, so the depreciation is $42,000 after applying the 40% depreciation rate  and six month also

And, in year 2017, the depreciation would be $67,200 ($210,000 - $42,000) × 40%

And in year 2018,  the depreciation would be $40,320 ($210,000 - $42,000 - $67,200) × 40%

So, the total accumulated depreciation would be

= $42,000 + $67,200 + $40,320

= $149,520

XminusIndustries manufactures 3minusD printers. For each unit, $ 2 comma 800 of direct material is used and there is $ 1 comma
Citrus2011 [14]

Answer:

the profit earned on 52 units is $110,500

Explanation:

Profit = Sales - Cost of Sales

First determine the cost of sales

Hint : Prepare a manufacturing cost schedule

Direct Materials ($ 2,800 × 52 units)                                  = $145,600

Direct Labor ($ 1,900 × 52 units)                                         = $98,800

Manufacturing Overheads ($25 × 95 hours × 52 units)    = $123,500

Total Cost                                                                              =$367,900

Then determine the Profit

Sales ($9,200 × 52 units)  =   $478,400

Less Cost of manufacture  = ($367,900)

Net Income / (Loss)             =  $110,500

Conclusion :

Calculate the profit earned on 52 units is $110,500

Campbell Company manufactures two products. The budgeted per-unit contribution margin for each product follows:
shepuryov [24]

Answer:

Instructions are listed below.

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

Super Supreme

Sales price $108 $131

Variable cost per unit (59 ) (82)

Campbell expects to incur annual fixed costs of $254,800. The relative sales mix of the products is 60 percent for Super and 40 percent for Supreme.

To calculate the break-even point in units, first, we need to calculate the weighted average selling price and weighted average variable cost:

weighted average selling price= 0.60*108 + 0.40*131= $117.2

weighted average variable cost= 0.60*59 + 0.40*82= $68.2

Now, we can calculate the break-even point:

break-even point (units)= fixed expense/ (weighted average selling price - weighted average variable cost)

break-even point (units)= 254,800/ (117.2 - 68.2)= 5,200 units

To calculate the number of each product we need to multiply the total break-even point for the participation of the sales:

Super= 5,200*0.6= 3,120 units

Supreme= 5,200*0.40= 2,080units
