WRITE A PARAGRAPH PLEASE what is Florida governor trying to do to help state hunger
Helen [10]

Answer:

Child hunger groups and Florida’s top elected Democrat urged Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday to tap into $820 million in federal aid money that would provide meals for more than 2 million children in low-income households.

Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried said it was “unconscionable” that DeSantis’ administration hasn’t requested the money, which has no strings attached. All the state has to do is ask, Fried said.

“Every day that this aid is delayed is another night where a child would go to bed hungry that could have been prevented,” said Fried, a Democrat looking to challenge DeSantis’ reelection next year. “The people of Florida can’t afford the governor leaving money on the table.”

Which outcomes were results of poverty in America's urban centers?
Marta_Voda [28]

Answer:

The correct answer is D) peaceful integration of once-segregated neighborhoods.

The option that was not a result of poverty in America's urban centers is the peaceful integration of once-segregated neighborhoods.

Poor people in urban centers is a constant in modern day America. One can walk in downtown areas in large cities and see the number of homeless people living in the streets. Cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, New York, and many more have this scenario and also many poor neighborhoods where minorities live. They lack basic services such as public schools or decent transportation and they also live in overcrowded and crime-ridden inner cities.

How did the Marshall Plan influence Europe during the early years of the Cold War?
likoan [24]
Politically, it was a clever move by the US, because it seemed as if the Soviet Union had excluded itself from theEuropean Recovery Program by its own doing. The remaining countries under Soviet influence of EasternEurope were pressed into turning down the Marshall Plan as well.
