Which sentence from the essay best conveys the central idea of "Life Without Go Go Boots"? The rest of my life would be endurabl

e if I had a pair of those white, calf-high confections with little black heels I learned what my mother had been trying to tell me all along: high fashion has the shelf life of potato salad. Style is mostly a matter of acting as if you know very well what you look like, thanks, and are just delighted about it I have a feeling the day might come when my daughter will beg to be a slave of conventional fashion.

My impressions of the narrator in "The Raven," is that the narrator is had kind of lost it. He's mad in the head. That is my impression of the narrator because in the poem he spent an awfully long while being thrilled with the fact that someone knocked on his door. Only to open the door to nothing more but darkness.
