First thing to know is that the quarter circle = 1/2 semi circle

Also note that the diameter of the semi circle is the other length for the rectangle

We want to add up the areas of the three things

Area of a circle is (3.14)r^2, but we have a semi circle so its (1/2) x (3.14)r^2, which is 56.52

The quarter circle is 1/2 x 56.52 = 28.26

Area of rectangle is h x l so 2 x 12 = 24

56.52 + 28.26 + 24 = 108.78

Hope this helps :)
