There are microorganisms that are able to live in extreme environments under adverse conditions of pH, temperature and salinity. These microorganisms are classified as extremophiles.  Within the group of extremophiles there are halophilic bacteria, which are those capable of living in extremely saline environments.

One biological factor that all living things are subject to suffer from is osmotic pressure. Halophilic microorganisms have developed mechanisms to adapt to saline environments where osmotic pressure acts with great intensity on individuals. These bacteria change the chemical composition of their membranes and also accumulate osmoprotective compounds in their cytoplasm to compensate for osmotic stress.

One advantage of a pressurized water reactor is the separation of water that is near radioactive material and the water that is
mel-nik [20]

True:

Advantages. PWR reactors are verystable due to their tendency toproduce less power as temperatures increase; this makes the reactor easier to operate from a stability standpoint. PWR turbine cycle loop is separate from the primary loop, so the water in the secondary loop is not contaminated by radioactive materials.

Answer:

Find, collect, label and analyze evidence

Explanation:

The application of science which is used to investigate crime scenes in order to find the correct evidence using different technologies is called forensic science. It plays a very important role in criminal justice and uses various discipline of subjects such as chemistry, physics, biology, computers. etc to find the main suspects in suspense of evidence.

The forensic scientist arrives at the crime scene to look for the evidence and then collect them and take it to the laboratory for further analysis of the evidence with respect to crime scene. So the primary thing that the forensic scientist  do to reconstruct a crime and find the culprit is to

Which of these members of the food web brings energy into the ecosystem by transforming energy from the sun into chemical energy
lana66690 [7]

Answer:cacti

Explanation:

In an ecosystem, the ultimate source of energy is the sun. Plants take up this energy from the sun to produce food. Animals eats up plants and when they die ,they decompose. This continuing process leads to the transfer of energy from one trophic level to another in the ecosystem.

Plants ,algae and some bacteria are the primary producers in the ecosystem.they are able to make their own food and support the entire living system. They extract inorganic nutrients and energy from the environment, in order to make their food. Animals(herbivores) eats up the plants and other animals(carnivores) eat up such animals. This situation sets up a chain of flow of energy from the producer to the consumer and back to the environment.
