Delegates from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York and New England met in Albany in 1754 to negotiate a treaty with the Iroquois. They also tentatively approved a proposal by Ben Franklin to set up a "General government" to deal with Indian relations. War began to break out when the Albany plan was presented to the colonial assemblies so no one approved of it. So C.
