Rhode Island did't attend the Constitutional Convention
Heat has a major effect and so does rain, people need to move where it isn’t too hot and there is just enough rain to grow crops and hunt, heat and droughts have a huge effect in this.
I would think it would be their exportation of precious resources such as diamonds, but i could be wrong about this
