The western expansion sprouted when we started getting alliances. from the east coast to west coast is a lonngggg ways away from each other so it took some time but when someone said hmm how about we make a thingy ma bob that will take them there make us money and us rich as well, so they made the Louisiana purchase which connected us to roads of riches so jobs were made available and money was being made inventions being upgraded so people over seas were like i want to go make some money so more people came and more money was made and that was the spark of now
