Answer:

machines

Explanation:

The factories developed because of the Industrial Revolution. Basically, the factories were manufacturing capacities in which machines were implemented. As the technology was quickly developing, the machines were becoming more and more important in the factories and their productions. The machines gradually reached a level where their efficiency, cheapness, and quickness, were essential in the production process. The human labor is still the most important and without it the machines can not do anything, but by the use of the machines the production has skyrocketed and still continues to grow, thus making their share of work irreplaceable and extremely important.

In "Civil Disobedience," what does Thoreau think about right after he wonders if he could have been of service to his community?
ahrayia [7]

The correct answer is B) the significance of the wall between himself and others.

The other options of the question were A) whether everyone in the town is half-witted and dull. C) that imprisoning him would not solve the problem. D) that he is truly the only person in the town to pay a tax.

In "Civil Disobedience," what Thoreau thinks about right after he wonders if he could have been of service to his community is the significance of the wall between himself and others.

As the transcendentalist, he was, Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862) supported the idea of "civil disobedience" that he applied when he refused to pay taxes and when he showed his opposition to the United States war against México. Hew though that people should resist injustice decisions and that they had the liberty to express themselves.

Do you agree or disagree with
Volgvan

A. Mitchell Palmer was the United States Attorney General from 1919 to 1921. A. Mitchell Palmer is remembered for the "Palmer Raids," which were a series of raids that were designed to capture communist people in the United States. These focused on foreigners (particularly Italian and Eastern Europeans).

A. Mitchell Palmer argued that the raids were organized in order to prevent a radical communist revolution in the country. However, the efforts do not seem to have been particularly successful. The fear appears to have been exaggerated, and the raids only created chaos among the population. Moreover, they violated people's freedom of ideology and speech. Because of this, I would disagree with the raids, as they did not embody the democratic ideals that the United States is meant to protect.
