Which of the following words best describes Mary Shelley's first attempts to find an idea for a ghost story?

English

love history [14]4 years ago
4 0

The very first attempts of Mary Shelley to find an idea for a ghost story are ambitious because she wanted to write a ghost story and was eager to do so. Also, we can say that it was fruitless because she couldn't find something really scary and frightening to write about. Until some years later she met a physician who told her about the galvarian method of stimulating muscles with electricity and how that could be a way of bringing the dead back to life. That is what finally inspired her to write the ghost story actually called "Frankenstein".

eimsori [14]

The sentence represents or demonstrates a foreshadowing (option B) in the story. German–Soviet Union relations date to the aftermath of the First World War. The Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, dictated by Germany ended hostilities between Russia and Germany; it was signed on March 3, 1918.[1] A few months later, the German ambassador to Moscow, Wilhelm von Mirbach, was shot dead by Russian Left Socialist-Revolutionaries in an attempt to incite a new war between Russia and Germany. The entire Soviet embassy under Adolph Joffe was deported from Germany on November 6, 1918, for their active support of the German Revolution. Karl Radek also illegally supported communist subversive activities in Weimar Germany in 1919.
