In the second Punic war Rome wanted Carthage to move inland but they said no . Do Rome came up with a plan to make them surrender by taking people. That didn't work because Carthage didn't want to give up . Then a nephew In Rome had a plan to destroy Carthage by killing everyone and Carthage was defeated.
