His lifestyle is irrelevant to how well he can fix the nation's problems.
Whether or not he is a good politician is not relevant to the point that he is a successful businessman.
Whether or not he is qualified to be a businessman is not as important as whether he is actually a good businessman.
If you want to see whether he is a good businessman (because that's the basis of his argument) you would have to review his record in business, simple as that.

Cold War fears on Communist dominance led to Vietnam being partitioned to ensure that Communism doesn't gain a foothold in SE Asia.

Why was Vietnam partitioned?

Vietnam was partitioned into a Communist North, and a Free market South at the insistence of the U.S. because the U.S. did not want Vietnam becoming a Communist nation entirely.
They worried that this would allow Communism to spread in South East Asia which alarmed the U.S. because it would give the Soviets more influence there. U.S. actions eventually led to the Vietnam War.

It was not Elizabeth the first who defeated the Armada, it was actually her sailors. Drake (not sure about his last name) send out fire ships making the Armada Captains get out in the open into the open sea in Calais. The very next day, Drake, along with Howard and other sailors, were at the Battles of Gravelines where they defeated the Armada captains.
Hope I helped.
